Description
Deep garnet colored, the 2007 Pedregal Proprietary Red is sporting a gregarious blackberry pie and blueberry compote-scented nose with touches of mocha, wood smoke, unsmoked cigars and Chinese five spice plus a touch of potpourri. Full-bodied, concentrated and aging at a glacial pace, the built-like-a-brick-house palate is only just starting to budge into tertiary characters, finishing with incredible length and depth.

Lastly, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Pedregal Vineyard is a sensational blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and a whopping 18% Petit Verdot raised in new French oak. This full-bodied, powerful, yet seamless beauty has sensational notes of black currants, tobacco leaf, forest floor, and bouquet garni. Deep, complex, with sweet tannin, a wealth of fruit, and a great finish, this world-class Cabernet Sauvignon has another two decades of longevity.
Dark and sumptuous in the glass, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Pedregal Vineyard is another terrific wine from David Ramey in this vintage. Black cherry, chocolate, espresso, cloves, licorice and dark spice infuse this creamy, resonant Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. The Pedregal handled the heat of the vintage effortlessly.
