Littoria purchased the Return Vineyard in 2016 (it is also home to Littoria's One Acre) from Rich Savoy. The vineyard elevations range from 1550 to 1750 feet in a straight run up the mountainside. The far southwest of the vineyard has three blocks that share a common westerly exposure.  These are the steepest vineyard blocks Littorai works with amongst all of their vineyard sites and "The Return" is the name they gave to this new block bottling.

Winemaker Tasting Note

The Return just seems to get better every year. These blocks are located on a series of very steep west facing blocks on the same property which produces One Acre. Rhubarb, red apple, Bing cherry, red beets, black tea, candlewax. Silky and generous on the palate, this is one of the most hedonistic wines in 2021.
